The 17th annual Unforgettable Gala has just announced its 2018 awards recipients. The awards night, presented by Audi and hosted by Kore Media, is a celebration of influential Asian and Asian Pacific American voices who are leading the way in popular culture and entertainment.

The black tie event is to be held on December 8 at The Beverley Hilton in Los Angeles, kicking off with red carpet festivities at 5:30, followed by dinner before the awards ceremony and performances.

Amongst those to be honoured this year are tennis star Naomi Osaka, making history this year as the first Japanese woman to make it into the Grand Slam finals, long-time film star John Cho who recently stared in box office hit Searching, groundbreaking and historical film Crazy Rich Asians and film and TV star Sandra Oh. More award recipients are yet to be announced.

“This annual gathering is a chance for our community to celebrate the success and progress we’ve made this year – in TV, film, culture, sports, and beyond. We are thrilled to recognize the honorees and all the hard work they’ve done to pave the way for generations to come,” said James Ryu, Kore Asian Mediapublisher.
