Korean pop icon CL rocks raven black hair for the new September split cover of Hong Kong’s #legend magazine. The South Korean singer-rapper phenom and fashion darling dishes on her K-pop group 2NE1’s stellar success, her solo career, her dad’s influence on her music and dressing like a tomboy.
When asked on the following questions:
CL on her favourite looks: “I loved it when I was a tomboy. I love wearing men’s clothes.”
CL on alternative career ambitions: “The only thing I wanted to be besides an artist and a dancer was a nun.”
CL on her lack of a private life: “Because I started so young…. I don’t know how it feels to be on the other side.”
To complement CL’s sizzling 13-page feature, the women’s fashion issue of #legend also presents a dizzying medley of fashion’s most relevant including a 40-page catwalk special and a heart-to-heart with wunderkind designer Olivier Rousteing. #legend also unveils another side to Hong Kong’s sweetheart, actress Karena Lam, the maestro of modern Italian cuisine, Massimo Bottura and music’s rising star Bebe Rexha.
