Hong Kong’s biggest music and arts festival Clockenflap has already begun preparations for their 10th anniversary festival celebrations, announcing Bristol Trip-Hop legends Massive Attack and Canadian indie-rock chanteuse Feist amongst artists within their first-round lineup.
The festival for this year will take place from Friday November 17th to Sunday November 19th at Central Harbourfront, Hong Kong.
Headliner Massive Attack are said to be closing the festival on Sunday with a spectacular full live show. This will be their only Southeast Asian show for the year, and they will be joined by Canadian singer-songwriter Feist and Danish artist MØ.
Amongst the other acts announced are Portland indie-rockers The Dandy Warhols (hits include Bohemian Like You and Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth), Mali’s Tinariwen, and Hong Kong Indie legends Fan Hung A, who are reuniting especially for this special performance.
Korean R&B singer DEAN, off-the-charts Chinese rap group Higher Brothers, Taiwanese indie band Hello Nico and Hong Kong rock pop band Supper Moment will be representing the best of Asian talent at this years’ festivities.
This years’ Clockenflap will also include four Asian festival exclusive performances, two special sets and nine Hong Kong debut appearances. A truly magical event which brings together the best from the East and the West, Clockenflap’s tenth anniversary show is surely one you will not want to miss.
Clockenflap takes place on Friday November 17th to Sunday November 19th. Tickets are on sale now. Early Bird discount prices are currently available until July 4th 2017. Check Clockenflap’s website for further information.
