Radiohead announce 2016 world tour. Could Australian dates be coming?

A band that needs no introduction, Radiohead, will be performing their first shows since 2012 at various festivals around the world, something we already knew. Now, it seems like the iconic band will be heading out on a full world tour with a string of headline shows in the leadup to their mysterious next album. Below is a long list of dates in various countries across U.S, Europe, and Asia. This being a world tour, could Australian dates be far behind?

The last time Radiohead were in Australia was just over three years ago, at the end of 2012 when The King of Limbs was still relatively fresh in our minds. It’d be rude not to pop on down under, especially when there’s a nice bit of leeway between their Japan dates and their appearance at Lollapalooza in Berlin. There’s also that suspicious gap in July, you know, when Splendour in the Grass is.
