Australian Film Alex & Eve Premiering at 22nd Greek Film Festival

This October, the 22nd Greek Film Festival returns to Melbourne with feel-good Australian story, Alex & Eve. Based on the hit Australian stage play by Alex Lykos of the same name, this big screen sensation will be this year’s Opening Night film at the World Premiere event at the iconic Astor Theatre.

Directed by Peter Andrikidis, Alex & Eve is an Australian romantic comedy about dating in the multicultural landscape. Putting a multicultural twist on the classic themes of forbidden love, Alex & Eve delivers all the warmth and humour of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and then takes it to the next level.

The full program of films will be announced in September.

Ticket to the opening night film and party are now on sale. Full $55 price for Greek community premium member and just $50 for Palace Movie Club Members. Purchase tickets at: www.greekcentre.com.au/gff/ or call 9827 7533

The Delphi Bank 22nd Greek Film Festival runs 14 October – 1 November, 2015 at  Astor Theatre, Corner Chapel Street & Dandenong Road, St Kilda.
