Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool scriptwriting duo heading to Mars in new movie

Hot off the enormous success of Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds is heading to Mars in a new science fiction film called Life.

The script for the film is being penned by Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese and will follow a crew aboard the International Space Station who, after retrieving a sample from Mars, discover that it displays signs of life.

Daniel Espinosa is set to direct with Rebecca Ferguson joining Reynolds as a lead.

There’s no release date for the film yet but we’ll keep you posted.
