MANE releases new single “Flowers” ahead of her sophomore EP

Having shared the stage with the likes of The Kooks, Yungblud, Matt Corby, Ball Park Music and more, MANE  (Paige Court) is known for her impressive live performances. She recently returned from two tours across the US, including her second SXSW in Austin, TX, as well as appearances at New Colossus Festival.

It comes as no surprise then, that she is set to release her Sophomore EP Caught In The Undertow this coming September. Ahead of this EP release, she has released a single “Flowers”, a sonically spacious and tensioned filled melody, allowing her vocals to shine.

“I struggle with social anxiety, in general and also in the music industry, where I feel like I always have to prove myself in one way or another.” MANE explains. “The pressure can be unrelenting and possessive and it sucks.

Sometimes I ask myself, why am I here and why am I putting myself through all this extra stress? I could be at home with my person, dog, family or my pals.”

“Flowers” was written in December 2021, in a South Australian beachside cabin, with good friends and long-time collaborators Benny Tamblyn-Morrow (TUSHAR) and Mario Späte (Meg Washington, Tkay Maizda, Elsy Wameyo). The track is an introspective journey that delves deep into the human experience, resonating with listeners who have faced similar battles with their own inner demons.
