Sydney restaurant Chefs Gallery has been synonymous with fusing some of the best Chinese contemporary cuisine with an upmarket dining experience. Now Chefs Gallery has brought that experience to western Sydney with a new restaurant at Westfield Parramatta.
Hello Asia was invited to the new Parramatta restaurant’s opening party to sample some of the signature dishes that has defined Chefs Gallery’s flagship restaurant in the city.
We started off with the Tataki Wagyu beef with a Sichuan style spicy dressing. The freshness of the wagyu beef blended in nicely with the small kick of the Sichuan dressing.
The Macanese style mini burgers filled with pork fillet, pork floss, lettuce and sweet chilli mayo is one of the our favourite signature dishes. The sweet chinese style bun and the crispy pork fillet is matched nicely with the pork floss.
The mini version of Chef’s own handmade egg and spinach tofu lightly fried with preserved vegetables and house made soya sauce. The richness and silkiness of egg and tofu sounds as good as it tastes!
Prawn and Pork Wontons in a Shanghainese spicy sauce. Freshly wrapped wontons that is cooked al-dente served with a slightly spicy soy based sauce.
Lightly battered salt and pepper calamari baskets.
Handmade spinach noodles tossed with king brown mushrooms, straw mushrooms, shredded carrot. Springy handmade noodles with some of the best chinese style mushrooms around.
Flash fried wagyu beef served with crushed black pepper and a black pepper dipping sauce.
