Grand Lafayette is making an even grander return to its much-adored Prahran venue!

After 8 long months, the south-side Japanese eatery is finally re-opening its doors with an enticing new menu of gastronomical delights filled with boundless regional and seasonal dishes.

‘New and improved’ is the motto! While all-you-can-eat is no more, Grand Lafayette plans to blow minds (and tastebuds) with its new menu, new chefs, and new mindset!

With Chef Jonny Wu at the helm, Grand Lafayette’s new menu is steeped in traditional Japanese technique and perfectly unites old world Lafayette with new.

Loyal fans can seek comfort in old family favourites including zany cocktails, that remain just as freaky and just as tasty as they were before, as well as luxe new iterations of Lafayette’s famed petite plates.

Cure cravings with Japanese favourites and menu newbies such as succulent and flavour bombastic bao buns stuffed with soft shell crab, Ora King salmon ethically soured from the pristine waters of the Southern Pacific, tempura eggplant or karaage. Fill up on fresh, juicy pan-fried pork and maple ponzu gyoza, or join the sushi party with the Chef’s expertly hand-selected morsels.

Book in, grab a seat and let the Lafayette edible theatre dazzle and delight you!
