Korean actress Claudia Kim, who most would know as the talented Dr Helen Cho who helps The Avengers out of some tricky scrapes, has been cast in the upcoming adaption of Stephen King’s “The Dark Tower” books.

Kim is set to play Arra Champignon and will be working alongside an all-star cast that already includes Matthew McConaughey, Idris Elba and Katheryn Winnick. The casting has been causing a bit of a stir with Elba as The Gunslinger, but it seems the filmmakers decisions are only seeking to enhance the anticipation around the film.

The film is set for release in February 2017 and is sure to be a mix all the science fiction, fantasy and horror elements that King and the series is famous for.
