Jung Hoseok, more commonly known as J-Hope of boy group BTS has released his music video Daydream from his long awaited first solo mixtape “Hope World”.
The third member of the seven-membered boy group to release a solo mixtape, the tape, produced by J-Hope himself as well as Pdogg, features seven tracks and comes in at just over 20 minutes.
The music video, directed by Choi Yongseok of production company Lumpens, who has worked with BTS since their debut in 2013, as well as many big-name Korean artists such as IU, SISTAR and Wonder Girls, managed to garner over 5 million views in just under 10 hours.
The release of the mixtape also proved an achievement for the rapper, topping the iTunes chart in over 63 different countries, the first for any Korean solo artist.
While the mixtape has been made free to download through Soundcloud, Google Drive, Mediafire and Dropbox, listeners can opt to support the artist and stream the mixtape through Spotify and Apple Music.
