Tonight, MTV held a socially distanced version of their annual Video Music Awards (The VMAs), which featured performances from the likes of Lady Gaga ft. Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, and our boys BTS who performed their smash hit single ‘Dynamite’ during the show.

Throughout the night they were nominated for four awards: Best Group, Best K-Pop (for ‘On’), Best Choreography (for ‘On’), and Best Pop (for ‘On’), and they made history by walking away with all four – the first K-Pop Group to do so. They tied with Lady Gaga for the most wins of the night.

Elsewhere in the night, Taylor Swift became the first first solo female artist to win the Best Director Award.

It’s been a big week for BTS with their first ever English language single ‘Dynamite’ making history all over the world – including in Australia where it hit #2 on the ARIA Charts.
