The four-member South Korean band CNBLUE held their ‘COME TOGETHER’ tour at Singapore Indoor Stadium on the 13th of February. The two-and-a-half hour concert was filled with performances of 21 songs including hits like ‘Cinderella’ – a perfect early Valentine’s day gift for their fans!
The group studied up on their English and Singaporean Hokkien in effort to communicate with Singaporean BOICE as much as possible throughout the concert. The Straits Times wrote, “Charisma, fun action and a bit of Hokkien from Korean pop-rock quartet CNBLUE,” going on to add that the show was filled with raw talent and that the atmosphere was electrifying. CNBLUE showed off their confidence as musicians as they played variations of their songs that included English and Singaporean Hokkien.
CNBLUE’s leader Jung Yonghwa became a real-time Twitter trend after the concert ended, confirming his global popularity. The team are set to continue their Asia tour with concerts in Taipei on the 19th and 20th of February followed by Nanjing, Chongqing and Hangzhou in March.
