In response to overwhelming fan demand on fan-initiated concert making service MyMusicTaste, South Korean boy band DAY6 is heading to Melbourne on August 10 and Sydney on August 12. These Australian stops are part of their world tour scheduled to start next August.

DAY6 Australian concerts were initiated by fans who created a viral movement on, an online service that brings together music fans to request their favorite artist’s concert. In response to the growing demand, DAY6 and MyMusicTaste collaborated to make DAY6 fans’ dream come true.

The quintet debuted in 2015, nurturing a music that filters British influences, as well as American stadium rock. Through their unique set up of four vocalists, their songs ranges from emotional and bittersweet tunes like “Congratulations” to funky celebratory songs like “I like

With already two full studio albums under their belt, DAY6 made a successful debut in Japan being featured as the theme song for the Japanese drama “Repeat”.

DAY6 is now gearing up for their first world tour after a first successful meet and greet tour in North America in 2017. Presale tickets, exclusive to MyMusicTaste users who requested DAY6 in Melbourne and Sydney, will be available on July 4 at 12PM local time. General sales on tickets to the public will then begin on July 9 at 12PM local time.
