The festive season is about happily indulging with loved ones. So, why not welcome this Christmas at Prahran’s Grand Lafayette.
Grand Lafayette, one of Melbourne’s premier Asian-inspired dining out venues, are teaming up with cake bosses, Luxbite to bring a sleigh full of delicious and decadent treats, so you can experience the exquisite joy of Christmas in style!
From the 17th of December right up until Christmas Day, treat yourself to an exclusive selection of perfectly paired Christmas themed cocktails and cakes for $22!
Plunge your fork into one of three delicious Luxbite cakes and sip from a selection of four Christmas-inspired cocktails, including a smooth Gin-gle Bell, a classic mix of lavender gin and tonic. For something with a bit more punch, try the ice blue Gin-ger Bread, gin, rum, Japanese yuzu and Blue Cacuro concoction, topped with whipped cream.
As thoughtfully crafted as their boozy brethren, the non-alcoholic matcha shake, Christmas Tree, topped with whipped cream and caramel popcorn, is something for all to enjoy, as is the deep berry red Santa Claus, topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
These festive and fun cocktails are perfectly crafted to enjoy alongside one of three Luxbite creations, featuring: Rudolph, a flourless red velvet coffee and almond sponge, topped with coffee and milk chocolate mousse, decorated with pretty as a picture gold chocolate Rudolph and Christmas star; the vibrant green Holy Wreath vanilla tart filled with whipped jasmine tea infused white chocolate ganache and uji matcha cream; and the cutest little Polar Bear, light lemon mousse with blackcurrant and blueberry compote baked cheesecake, decorated with coconut meringues and edible Santa hat.
Housed over two shop fronts at 9 Clifton Street in Prahran, Lafayette seats over 100 people, and is a café dining and bar destination that offers two distinct services catering for the brunch coffee crowd during the day and then Japanese all-you-can-eat restaurant during the evening.
The interiors are whimsical, preparing patrons for the playful and tasty gastronomic adventure that awaits
