Mandopop diva Jolin Tsai and her creative team are certainly doing it big these days.
After winning ‘Best Album’ amongst other accolades at last year’s Golden Melody Awards, Tsai shot to international critical acclaim with her music video for her single “Play” catching the eye of international press outlets such as Times which called it the best music video of 2014.
Furthermore, Tsai also picked up another award for “Play” last year at the prestigious Red Dot awards in Germany for best Communication design.
Now, it’s just recently been announced that “Play” which is known for Jolin’s tongue-in-cheek and satirical critique of Taiwanese society’s superficiality has been nominated yet again for Berlin’s music video awards 2016.
Competition will be tight as she and her team will be competing against 9 other competitors, but one thing’s for sure – Jolin will always be the big winner in my heart!
