One of the most exciting artists on the global stage is heading our way! The Korean-American DJ and producer Yaeji will be bringing her show to Australian audiences for the first time in December.
A master of the eclectic, Pitchfork described her songwriting as ‘funny and deeply retrospective’. She seamlessly alternates between Korean and English vocals as her music merges club influences with songwriting and hazy raps.
After releasing global breakout singles Raingurl and Drink I’m Sippin’ On, she landed spots on Sonar and Coachella festivals earlier in 2018.
She currently splits her time between Seoul and New York where in Brooklyn, she regularly hosts her ‘Curry in No Hurry’ dance nights – a night where she serves homemade curry to friends and fellow producers; an experience designed to enhance the sensory connection between eating and listening.
It’s safe to say we’ll be in for a treat.
