One of Korea’s largest conglomerate Lotte’s flagship shopping branches, Lotte Home Shopping, will open its first ever Australian expo at the Hilton Sydney (488 George St, Sydney) between the 6th and 8th of November.
‘Korea Brand and Entertainment Expo’ is the second instalment in the company’s efforts to promote the international export of Korean small-to-midsize businesses. The expo is part of Lotte Home Shopping’s project ‘International Market Pioneering’ and is sponsored by the Korean business partner foundation, Korea Institute of Design and Incheon Port Authority.
The recent rise in interest of Korean culture and products within Australia owing to the popularity of K-pop and K-beauty have been a deciding factor in the Expo’s establishment in Sydney. This will be the biggest Korean Brand Expo in Australia to date.
Following the opening ceremony on the 6th of November, 37 small-to-midsize companies, 13 start-ups and over 250 potential buyers will attend the Expo. 1 on 1 import/export meetings and discussions including tips on bringing the brands to Australia and adapting them to the Australian market will be a focused agenda.
Will you be swinging by to check out the latest K-beauty products?
