Japan’s much adored dance-metal act BABYMETAL are set to look back at their January 2020 shows at the Makuhari Messe convention centre in Chiba, Japan, with two live albums documenting the large-scale event.

The Japanese group performed in front of 50,000 people across the two nights. The pair of concerts were tacked on to the band’s tour in support of their 2019 album Metal Galaxy, which went on to become the first LP by an Asian act to hit No. 1 on US Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums chart.

Their two shows featured two completely different sets each night, dubbed the Light Force and Dark Force, in front of an enormous LED backdrop of visuals from their Metal Galaxy album.

The two live albums, Legend – Metal Galaxy [Day 1] and Legend – Metal Galaxy [Day 2], will both be released Wednesday, September 9th via Cooking Vinyl.
