Indonesian R&B singer Rinni Wulandari has released her latest single together with fellow Indonesian artist Yarra Rai, ‘Snake On Apple Trees’.
Rinni Wulandari has always conveyed messages of empowerment and liberation – this new single reinforces these messages, while heralding a brand new chapter for the artist. Influenced 90s’ R&B and soul music, ‘Snake On Apple Trees’ relays the feelings associated with recognising that your friends might not be as close as you thought they were, understanding this truth, and taking control by putting a stop to making bad decisions.
These circumstances have made the artist stronger than ever. Rinni Wulandari honestly shares, “It was a lesson for me learning that at the end of day, real situations bring out the truth in people, and perhaps I should have made a better judgement in the choice of friend I made. Still, life goes on.”
‘Snake On Apples Trees’ is part of her upcoming album, Skins. Slated for release in August 2021, it will also include previous singles ‘Born Ready’, ‘Keep On Movin’, and ‘Feel Good’.
“These singles that make up my upcoming album represent the layers of life experience that has shaped me into the person I am today,” the singer notes.
