Grand Prix Season Singapore is almost upon us once again, as Singapore welcomes visitors to a non-stop celebration: blockbuster concerts, glitzy parties and a dazzling array of cultural and entertainment options – and not forgetting the Lion City’s world-renowned gastronomic delights.

This year marks the ninth year of the FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. The world’s first night race proved a sensation when the inaugural Singapore FORMULA 1 race was run in 2008, and today it remains a unique and much anticipated highlight on the race calendar.


The F1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix  will take place Friday 16 September – Sunday 18 September 2016. Here’s the scheduled racing times:

Practice 2:     Friday 16 September – 21:30-23:00
Practice 3:     Saturday 17 September – 18:00-19:00
Qualifying:    Saturday 17 September – 21:00-22:00

Race weekend performances

A star-studded array of performers will celebrate FORMULA 1 weekend, including Kylie Minogue, Queen & Adam Lambert and KC and the Sunshine Band. Ticketholders can also enjoy full-length concerts from multi-platinum artists Imagine Dragons, Halsey, Bastille and Pentatonix.

Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival

Soak in the festive mood of the Mid-Autumn Festival at Chinatown. The official light up and opening ceremony will be followed by more than a month of beautiful street light-up (Sept 3-30 2016) along Chinatown. Be enthralled by the traditional decor all around Chinatown. The light-up lanterns was conceptualised by faculty and students of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).

With a plethora of brightly lit stalls lining up the streets of Chinatown and in front of
