The 2016 Sydney Film Festival will present a new program this year entitled “Korea on the Verge: Social Faultlines in Korean Cinema”. The program lists indie films that focus on certain issues in Korean society including political scandals, social injustices, sexual deviances and the re-examination of traditions.
Tony Rayns will be Guest Programmer for the series, introducing each screening and presenting a free talk on the program after the screening of “A Fish”.
