At the press conference for her “Lemuria” concert which is set to take off on the 27th of August at Taipei Arena, Tanya Chua shared many exciting titbits about what audiences can expect from her performance.

Describing the concert as a completely new experience in terms of audio, visual, and even scent-wise, it was announced that the concert venue would even be perfumed with the scent of “Lemuria”.

The concert will also feature special guest Jolin Tsai, a good friend of Tanya’s who is set to showcase her dance expertise at the concert.

Tanya will once again be working with the producer who worked on her last album “Aphasia” Anton on the concert. Despite having had conflicts in the past over musical ideas, Chua expresses that they have gotten used to each other by now and value each other’s input.

Chua’s latest album has also been well-received by critics at the Golden Melody Awards, which has seen her nominated in six categories. When quizzed about how she would react to a fight between Goddesses for the prize (A-mei is also in the running this year), she laughed and said that everyone has put a lot of work into their music and are not thinking about winning or losing as the end goal.
