The Academy has announced details and commenced registration for their upcoming national auditions for the K-Pop Boot Camp which will be held in September 2016 in Sydney.

The Boot Camp is being described as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have a taste of what its like to be trained by professional K-Pop instructors from Korea”. Participants of the K-Pop Boot Camp will go through a week long intensive program with three trainers and scouts who have worked with the likes of A-CIAN, D6P, Bloomy and GOT7. 

The K-Pop Boot Camp will also give you a chance to be filmed for an online reality series which which will showcase all the trainees of the masterclass in detail.

Auditions for K-Pop Boot Camp will be held* in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. The Academy have revealed the tentative dates of each audition, however venues in the capital cities will be announced later in the year, with the auditions only going ahead it 50 or more registrations are confirmed for the respective city.

Sydney – 30th and 31st July
Melbourne – 13th August
Brisbane – 20th August
Perth – 27th August
Adelaide – 28th August

Registration for auditions is open NOW and you can obtain all information at The Academy’s website. A registration fee of $50 is applicable for auditions.

Korean trainers will decide the top 40 trainees of the Master Class. Any audition members who miss out on a place in the Master Class will be invited to join the 40 member Rookie Class. The Rookie Class will be held at the same time as the Master Class but with a focus to prepare you for the Master Class next year.

All solo audition participants in the auditions will also have a chance to win the Wildcard Challenge which will win a place in the K-Pop Boot Camp Master Class. The winner will be judged by a public vote with most likes from their audition video.

The Master Class will cost $1000 AUD (not including travelling/food expenses or accommodation). Rookie class will cost $800 AUD (not including travelling/foood expenses or accommodation). With 40+ hours worth of training this comes out to $25 an hour. The Academy is providing a special offer by giving participants who sign up for the audition a 10% discount for the Master and Rookie Class (offer expires 30th June).
