Last weekend, PENTAGON successfully completed their first online concert WE L:VE!

“We should have held the concert two weeks ago […] It’s a more chaotic situation than ever, but we’re really grateful to be able to hold the concert and meet you,” said PENTAGON to their global UNIVERSE before they kicked off their two hour performance.

PENTAGON boosted the excitement by presenting a series of performances of their best hits including ‘‘Basquiat’, ‘Gorilla’, ‘Shine’, ‘Can You Feel It’, and ‘The Black Hall’, of which fans picked as the most desired song to watch.

Throughout the show, unique unit performances highlighted each member’s individuality. HUI and SHINWON showed off their rock spirit with their self-composed song ‘WTH’, and rapper YUTO and WOOSEOK captivated its fans’ heart with their swag-filled hip-hop performances. HONGSEOK and YANAN presented warm winter sensibilities with a cover of Ailee’s ‘I Will Go To You Like The First Snow’, and YEOONE and KINO drew an explosive response from fans by their deadly sexiness with ‘Move’, originally performed by K-Pop superstar TAEMIN.

Making the experience all the more special was military-enlisted-member JINHO, who watched the online concert and communicated in real-time through the live chat functionality. JINHO emphasised his strong friendship with the members by giving enthusiastic support to each and every performance. Fans also responded enthusiastically to every moment of PENTAGON’s live concert through participating live chat.

The concert continued with performances of ‘Daisy’, following debut stages of ‘Paradise’ and ‘You Like’.

During the encore, PENTAGON sang ‘Nostalgia’; much to their surprise, the group was quickly joined by the voices of UNIVERSE.

Before the show concluded, PENTAGON unveiled their new song ‘Flame’ for the first time. This finale was especially meaningful, as ‘Flame’ was created for their fans, and quotes fan-letters that contain messages of faith and thankfulness for each other.

PENTAGON said, “You’re not in front of us right now, but I believe we’re connected to each other with our hearts. We will be thinking of the concert we did together today over time. It was such a happy time to be with UNIVERSE all over the world. Let’s walk together now and forever.”

“I feel it whenever I perform, but I’m most grateful for the love from UNIVERSE. Many things happened and there were lots of changes as well, but I was able to stay here because of UNIVERSE. I’m leaving you for a while, but please wait for me because I’ll be back in a much better and healthier way,” HUI said, just before the concert ended.
