The crew behind this longstanding live music hub have relaunched their ‘Triffid Roots’ event hosted by Triple J’s Sarah Howells for Autumn. Sunday afternoon’s program includes roots performances from 2pm along with plenty of food and drink specials to enjoy. The spacious beer garden will be decked out in a new theme each week, from Brazilian grill to Korean and Mexican meats, the Triffid is your go to for chilled BBQ vibes every Sunday this Autumn. There will be a special Sunday only menu featuring ‘Flame Grilled Meats of the World’ from their Feedback Café that you can sample for $15. Every other day, the menu will be going strong, crafted to a “dude food with a street edge” approach, like nachos, fried chicken wings, and falafel burgers.

If Saturday’s are more your speed, don’t fret, the Triffid has you covered there too. Geared towards a younger crowd, afternoon DJ ‘NOW’ sessions will be laying down all the tracks to get your night going from 1pm. There’s $10 specials on offer for the dollar-savvy, including $10 burgers, $10 band name inspired cocktails and $10 tallies until 7pm. With additional function space on the rooftop it’s the perfect place to host a party or two as the weather cools down.
