Veteran Director Ted Kotcheff to present masterclass at Melbourne’s 2016 Monster Fest

Ted Kotcheff, director of the Australian classic thriller Wake In Fright (also known as Outback), will be one of the special guests at this year’s Monster Fest in November.

Kotcheff will also be a keynote speaker at a three hour masterclass for the Swinburne University Media and Communication Monster Academy, discussing his films including First Blood and Weekend at Bernie’s, as well as his work as an executive producer on Law and Order: SVU.

Monster Fest is Australia’s premier genre film festival and will feature numerous film premieres, guest speakers, presentations and more. The festival will also premiere Sundance‘s controversial film The Greasy Strangler, followed by a Greasy Gala featuring the film’s stars including Sky Elobar and Michael St. Michaels.
